The Position

CSIRO’s Business Development & Commercial is seeking to appoint a Equity Portfolio Manager. This is a new role within this team.

In this position, you will work with Business Units Finance and the Business Development and Commercialisation (BD&C) communities of CSIRO to provide advice, strategy and operational plans pertaining to the improved management and financial performance/impact of the equity portfolio within CSIRO.

This is a newly created position where you will develop and implement a portfolio of Annual Equity Management Support Activities to ensure the enhancement of the CSIRO Commercialisation Strategy.

Your duties/responsibilities will include:

• Develop and implement a portfolio of Annual Equity Management Support Activities to ensure the improved management and financial performance/impact of the equity portfolio within CSIRO.
• Develop an Annual Equity Management Plan to provide oversight of all Equity Transactions, including current Equity Transaction Investment status and proposed action or activity. Track and manage performance of equity transactions against prior year or approved forecasts 

Location:      Sydney NSW preferred. Canberra ACT or Melbourne VIC may be considered.
Salary:          $131K - $145K plus up to 15.4% superannuation
Tenure:         Specified term of 3 years

To be successful you will need:

• Experience in negotiating and establishing Equity Transactions and portfolio and investment decision making
• Experience in managing Equity Portfolio in either a corporate or government environment
• Experience in developing & implementing Equity Portfolio Management Plans and Equity Portfolio Re Investment Plans
