We are Australia’s international trade remedies authority - the Anti-Dumping Commission. Commission staff investigate allegations of unfair trade practices involving exports entering Australia. These investigations seek to deliver a level playing field for industry. We perform the important function of administering Australia’s anti-dumping legislation. About the team

The Capability, Projects and Strategy team leads the design, development and delivery of a whole-of-Commission approach to capability, culture, performance and strategy. We do this in support of the Commissioner and the wider Senior Executive Group, as a trusted advisor.

What you will do 

As an assistant director, you will manage and lead work within your own portfolio of responsibilities.

Specifically, in this role you will:

  • Lead and manage various business improvement/change management initiatives.
  • Identify and drive opportunities for enhancing the commission’s internal processes and practices to promote ongoing operational effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Design, develop and manage capability and training programs.
  • Manage internal and external communications and stakeholder engagements
  • Prepare business cases, minute papers, business planning documents, project documentation, reports, internal and external presentations and proposal papers for an executive audience.
  • Develop and administer plans, procedures, processes and process maps.
  • Apply a working understanding of the technical aspects of dumping, subsidy, injury and causation issues to improve existing operational processes and practices.
