About the Role

This is a fantastic role for a leader and experienced market research professional to deliver actional insights that will influence significant change in business decisions relating to content, product, marketing and strategy.

The role will involve but not be limited to:

  • Providing business partners with informed, well-articulated and actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Managing highly specialised research projects, including briefing, stakeholder engagement, fieldwork, analysis and presentations.
  • In collaboration with colleagues, developing, implementing and reviewing prioritisation frameworks across Insights and Analytics to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Providing significant leadership and development opportunities for direct reports, creating shared understanding and purpose and a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

About You

You are a market research practitioner with significant experience in agency and client organisations, leadership and the development of teams. Additional skills and experience include:

  • Sophisticated communication and influencing skills with significant experience consulting and presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Superior quantitative research skills, with proven ability to extract audience insights from multiple datasets, create an insights story and present this to senior stakeholders to drive change.
  • Well-honed experience leading a team and fostering professional and personal development.
  • Significant experience cultivating change that has a lasting impact.
  • Experience in a large complex customer/ audience focussed organisation is desirable.

They're responsible for leading the ABC’s brand and audience strategies, acquiring and engaging audiences both within our broadcast and digital ecosystems and working collaboratively with partner divisions to lead an integrated approach to audience insights, branding, acquisition and retention strategies, and communication.
