One of Australia’s most innovative Federal Government Departments is looking to engage an experienced Radio Systems Engineer to support and advise on the planning and implementation of telecommunications devices. The successful candidate will be offered a 12month contract with a view to further extend at an amazing hourly rate. 

The successful Radio Systems Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to;

• Supporting and assisting in commercial discussions with State Radio Networks and vendors
• Work closely with and support the department, State Radio Networks and vendors during the implementation process
• Providing technical advice during implementation (i.e. during build and test for Core, Sites and Vehicle fit out)
• Assisting transition of users to State Radio Networks Monitor and report on technical risks to the project

The successful Radio Systems Engineer must have experience in the following;

• Engineering experience in P25 and PTT over LTE technologies and networking
• Proven experience in radio network design and network protocols and implementation
• Well-developed analytical and conceptual skills
• Minimum of 3 years in the engineering and architecture in information technology
