One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments is looking to engage a skilled Cyber Analyst to assist in ensuring the effective implementation of security practices to ensure that department’s people, information, and assets, are appropriately protected in accordance with policies and framework. The successful Cyber Analyst will be offered a 12 month contract with 2 years of extensions.

The successful Cyber Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to: 

• Help align security expectations with the ISM and PSPF, Essential 8 and other relevant industry best-practices.
• Assist with the management and implementation of the department’s IT security strategies.
• Managing cyber risks to support the delivery of secure departmental systems and services.

The successful Cyber Analyst will have experience in the following:

• Demonstration of comphrensive knowledge of ICT and Cyber Security technologies and best practices.
• Experience in similar role within a medium/large size organisation is highly desirable.
• Providing risk, accreditation and policy advice is favorable.
