This is an exciting, innovative program and we are looking for passionate designers with an interest in speculative design approaches and methodologies that can take a complex idea and transform it into both a tangible vision of the future and an intuitive, easy-to-use product that customers love.

Life at Data61 and how you can be part of our mission

CSIRO’s Data61 is at the forefront of digital science and innovation, leading both in developing new research as well as working across disciplines and sectors to apply technologies and drive impact.

We have an exciting strategic program of work called Reinvent Science - finding ways to revolutionise science through digital technologies. This program requires designers with a unique skillset of collaborating with scientists to roadmap and design long-term future digital scenarios as well as to rapidly take successful proofs of concepts through to prototypes and implementations to be tested on real scientific problems. For more information on Design at CSIRO, view here.

We are committed to continuously building a diverse, inclusive and flexible working environment where all our people feel supported to do their best work and feel empowered to let their ideas flourish.
