The Position
As a Research Technician in this role, you will be part of the CSIRO Cotton Breeding Program, which is involved in significant research activities at the Australian Cotton Research Institute (ACRI) and tests advanced breeding materials at multiple off-station sites across the entire industry. In this role, you will a part of the Breeding Support team and provide high levels of assistance in day-to-day operations and breeding research. Key focus areas of your role include developing new varieties, creating novel and diverse genetic resources, and testing and adapting new methodologies (or technologies) so as to further empower and speed up the delivery and impact of the program.
