The Position
CSIRO’s Agriculture and Food is seeking to appoint a research scientist in soil physics working within the 'Sustaining Agricultural Soils and Landscapes' Program as well as with other groups within CSIRO.
You as the successful applicant will have established research expertise in soil physics with specialisation in areas such as: the transport of water, solutes, gas and energy in the soil; measurement and management of soil physical structure; management of soil water, and the interaction between soil and plants.
You will conduct innovative research leading to substantive scientific achievements that are aligned with CSIRO's strategies
Your duties/responsibilities will include:
Location: Canberra ACT
Salary: $95K - $103K plus up to 15.4% superannuation
Tenure: Specified term of 4 years
