The position:
CSIRO Postdoctoral Fellowships help facilitate the recruitment and development of our potential leaders. They provide valuable opportunities for scientists and engineers to launch their careers, extend professional networks and enhance their career prospects.
As a Postdoctoral Fellow with CSIRO Health and Biosecurity, you will have a unique opportunity to be closely involved in the development of a new, state-of-the-art research program in CSIRO. Based at the CSIRO Australian Animal Health Laboratory (AAHL), a high-containment facility designed to allow scientific research into the most dangerous infectious agents in the world, you will access multiple training opportunities to build your scientific career. You will work across CSIRO research groups with expertise in immunology and molecular biology and join an active research team consisting of multiple postdocs, students and technicians.

Location: Australian Animal Health Laboratory (AAHL), Geelong, Victoria, Australia
Salary: AU $83k to AU $91k per annum, plus up to 15.4% superannuation

As a minimum requirement, you will hold a doctorate (or will shortly satisfy the requirements of a PhD) in a relevant discipline area, such as Immunology, Virology or Pathology. You will also have:
