The position:
CSIRO is preparing a property consolidation strategy in Perth involving the refurbishment of highly-serviced and specialised research facilities as well as a program of intra-city staff relocations. As the Project Manager – Capital Works with CSIRO Business and Infrastructure Services (CBIS), you will manage the planning, delivery and application of a change management methodology on this major ‘Perth Precincts’ project.
Drawing on your experience leading complex relocation and infrastructure projects, you will lead the initiative, establishing relationships with senior and key stakeholders across industry, government and the community. You will be an innovative, customer centric, inclusive and inspiring leader that will bring to the role a track record of successfully managing partnerships and complex property development projects. With over ten years of experience delivering end-to-end value in program delivery, you will ensure the project is delivered in support of CSIRO’s vision for Perth.
With responsibility to the CBIS WA State Manager and operating within the project governance structure, you will be directly accountable for ensuring the project adheres to time, cost and quality requirements. You will provide high quality, strategic advice; often in connection with technical, commercial, specialised and challenging issues and your recommendations will often impact strategic decision making. To be successful in the role, you will need to keep abreast of issues and developments and draw on other relevant expertise in order to provide timely, accurate, specialist advice within the project.

Salary: AU $111k to AU $130k plus up to 15.4% superannuation

As a minimum requirement, you will hold Tertiary qualifications, or have equivalent experience (~10+ years) in a relevant discipline area, such as project management, architecture, engineering, planning, construction, property or related areas. You will also have:
