Senior Health Statistician
CSIRO Health and Biosecurity is seeking an experienced Senior Health Statistician to join the Health Systems Analytics group - a growing team contributing towards significant research goals and delivering impact on national and international health policy. This group is part of the Australian eHealth Research Centre, CSIRO’s Digital Health Research program, and conducts high impact research in the domains of Health Intelligence and Health Implementation Science.
You will take a lead role in developing and applying statistical methodology to solve problems in the health domain. Working with a range of stakeholders, you will contribute statistical expertise to multiple projects in healthcare to inform and improve health system productivity and efficiency, predictive modelling, inform operational and clinical effectiveness, risk stratification and provide explainable clinical decision support.
The scientific problems that arise in Health Systems Analytics are varied and challenging and require strong mathematical and statistical grounding. As the successful candidate, you will be enthusiastic about making a hands-on contribution to solving research challenges and will have established expertise in the development and application of statistical modelling for solving real world problems.

Salary: AU$115k - AU$135k plus up to 15.4% superannuation
