NAL is seeking a Senior Researcher or postdoctoral fellow to join us on a fixed term 2 year opportunity, to be a key member of the Communication Sciences Department & act as a project lead on all research projects in the area of Paediatric hearing loss, all in support of NAL’s Mission, Strategic Objectives & Competencies. The ideal candidate will provide intellectual leadership, commensurate with experience, in paediatric hearing loss research . They will be expected to apply their research expertise in audiological, hearing science and/or speech/language sciences, leading to new scientific knowledge, potential impact on clinical services and health policy at a national and international level, and potential impact on companies producing hearing devices and technologies.
The postholder will have a recognized track record of research expertise at a national level or be well-placed to develop one, and be able to use a variety of experimental, quantitative and/or qualitative methods to achieve project goals independently or in collaboration with a multidisplinary team at NAL.
