Full time or Part Time, Fixed term position (Immediate Start)

Forensicare is a dedicated Victoria state-wide, publicly funded specialist service that provides quality forensic mental health services to mentally ill offenders.

We are seeking a Full-Time Consultant Psychiatrist to work with a dynamic team to deliver forensic psychiatric services in a prestigious state wide service with a high profile in psychiatry. The Psychiatrist will be primarily involved in providing specialist clinical services and will have an opportunity to undertake research and academic development. Applications for part time employment will be considered.

The position is available for 12 months with the possibility of an extension. Applications for part time employment will be considered.

Applicants should have:

• Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or equivalent.

• Experience in forensic psychiatry is highly desirable
