About the Role

The Client Technologies Manager willlead and develop the Client Technologies Team and facilitate collaborative interaction with other ICT Teams to support AFSA’s ICT client environment. You will maintain and promote a strong client focussed ICT service culture to support AFSA’s business operations. You will have access to a large spread of technology and opportunity to develop your leadership skills in a client focussed role. You are a self-starter with the ability to guide a team to deliver success.

  • Deliver high quality desktop support services across AFSA
  • Lead and build a team by:

­   Establishing clear work expectations, systems and processes

­   Encouraging and supporting ongoing learning and development opportunities

­   Providing regular feedback

­   Identify opportunities to enhance the team performance

  • Provide technical support and guidance to the client technologies team
  • Mange the performance of vendor contracts for goods and services
  • Lead the development and management of the AFSA desktop Standard Operating Environment (SOE)
  • Manage a team responsible for the provision of Virtual desktop infrastructure and Enterprise Mobility Management
  • Apply your experience with Microsoft Windows desktop operating system and Microsoft Systems Centre Configuration Manager
  • Build collaborative relationships, team capability and share knowledge with areas of expertise

About You

  • Demonstrated experience in an ICT service delivery environment
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing a multi-disciplinary virtual team
  • Knowledge of relevant ITIL processes and best practice (ITIL Certification Preferred)
