Parks Australia is looking for a high performer to manage one of the world’s most iconic World Heritage listed National Parks.
A high level of energy and experience is required in this dynamic, exciting and challenging role. Managing the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, you’ll work closely with the traditional owners, manage a highly-engaged team, maintain crucial stakeholder relationships, deliver world-class visitor services, while conserving the park’s rich cultural and natural heritage and values.
Strong leadership, balanced with cultural sensitivity and exceptional project-management skills are mandatory; and developing strong relationships with your staff, and traditional owners are critical to the role.
Ideally, you’ll have a strong background in natural resource management and park operations in a cross cultural context. Experience in working with the tourism sector and scientific community will be highly regarded.
