Director Statutory Reporting 

About the Role:

As the Director Statutory Reporting, you will provide expert advice and lead the effective delivery of AFSA’s financial reporting framework, annual financial statements, external audits and centralised budget management system (CBMS) reporting. You will lead the treasury and accounts receivable function for AFSA and ensure taxation and compliance obligations are met. Your active participation in governance boards and committees will bring a finance perspective to organisational strategy and decision making. Your ability to build and lead a high performing team committed to client centric service delivery will see you succeed.

About You:

To achieve success in this role, you will have:

  • demonstrated experience and success in the preparation of financial statements 
  • tertiary qualifications in Accounting – CA / CPA
  • the ability to incorporate strategic thinking to achieve results
  • exceptional stakeholder engagement and consultancy skills
  • people management skills leading a high performing team
