This position is responsible for the procurement, supply and distribution of all ADF bulk fuels within Australia and at a number of overseas locations. This position also supports the fuel requirements of foreign military assets visiting Australia.

Key activities undertaken by this position are:

• to provide on the job training, supervision and management of subordinate APS 4 staff;
• to ensure Delivery in Full and on Time (DIFOT) of all bulk fuels managed by FSB;
• to manage supplier and customer relationships;
• to support exercise requirements and short notice Humanitarian and Disaster Relief (HADR) activity, by engaging with all stakeholders;
• to monitor Key Performance indicators (KPI) and Demand Satisfaction Rates (DSR) achieved by suppliers, required under extant Standing Offer performance criteria;
• to review and remediate Outstanding Commitment (OSC) and investigate discrepant accounts payable transactions;
• to manage funding for settlement of all Defence commercial and aviation fuel card invoices and;
• to manage day to day Defence supply chain issues to ensure supply chain resilience.
