The Australian Hydrographic Office is Australia’s national hydrographic and charting authority and is responsible for producing nautical charts and other products in support of Australia’s maritime interests and Defence operations, ensuring safety and environment protection. We are seeking an experienced ICT Service Manager to be our next Maritime Data Systems Service Manager and to facilitate and enable successful delivery of services in a high-profile, high-tempo, complex ICT environment.

We need a person that can plan, implement and review ICT service activities to meet customer and business requirements, including monitoring service level agreements.

To be successful in this role you are able to communicate with influence and be accountable for ICT Service, enabling service delivery outcomes for the Australian Hydrographic Office. You’ll be able to engage with high-level stakeholders, to identify their expectations and develop productive working relationships, to deliver services and achieve outcomes.

You will have an advantage if you have relevant tertiary and/or vocational qualifications in ICT, and/or working knowledge in a Service Desk System. Understanding Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Service management and technical knowledge of a Microsoft server and client operating environment will also be highly regarded.
