The successful candidate will create a strategic vision and inspire a team of scientists and engineers to push the frontiers of science to produce enhanced and innovative capabilities for Australia’s Defence and National Security. They will foster strong national and international partnerships and collaborations with a wide range of stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
The successful candidate will be able to provide leadership, management and science excellence in one or more of the following fields: Imaging Systems, Intelligence Analytics, Information Integration, Microwave Radar and Signatures, High Frequency Radar or Next Generation Radars. They will also be forward-looking, delivering research and development in emerging and future new technologies.
