SEA5000-1, the Hunter Class Frigate (HCF), within Ships Division is responsible for the delivery of nine Frigates and plays a significant role in the Government’s plan to create a continuous naval shipbuilding industry. To achieve this, the Defence organisation requires a skilled and talented workforce, that is solution focused and outcome driven to deliver on this critical Government agenda.
The successful candidate will be the Commonwealth operational lead for the management of the HCF Hazard Log and as such will be central to the projects safety program outcomes and a critical element of the naval shipbuilding plan. The HCF Hazard Log is a critical element to ensure the HCF can be safely operated and maintained throughout the Capability Lifecycle (CLC).
You will work in a dynamic and diverse environment requiring a number of key skills including the ability to:
- build, manage and maintain strong relationships both internally and externally
- liaise with key project Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
- consistently maintain attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- communicate technical information effectively to all relevant stakeholders

The SEA5000-1 Program has been designed to build a longstanding, beneficial relationship for both Defence and industry whilst developing significant Defence capability for the next 20+ years.
