The Role

The Pricing and Cost Assurance Team provides pricing and cost support to all areas of the Future Submarine Program including cost modelling, internal reviews, cost audits, budget management, invoice assurance and other assessment, assurance and cost estimation activities. This is a new team which is establishing itself within the program with lots of opportunity to grow and develop. It's a fast paced, challenging environment where complex issues are solved with innovation, teamwork and expertise.

As a Payment Assurance Officer, you'll play a vital role in undertaking the accounts payable requirements of the Future Submarine Program, including registration, validation and approval of invoices for payment. You'll also raise and administer purchase orders, conduct simple procurements and provide cost and payment support to the Team Lead.

About the Team

The Australian Government is laying the foundations for a nationwide naval shipbuilding enterprise to support the implementation of the Naval Shipbuilding Plan. The Plan outlines the Australian Governments vision for the Australian naval shipbuilding enterprise and the significant investment required in coming decades. Submarines are a unique Defence capability and play an essential role in supporting Australia’s maritime security, and your work within the program, by engaging with Navy and Industry suppliers will ensure that Navy has an enduring and potent Submarine capability.
