The Role
An opportunity currently exists for an experienced, motivated and agile Logistics Manager with outstanding communication skills to join our team. With a mix of hands on logistics and staff management this is a role with lots of variety. Your problem solving, strategic focus and communications skills will see you thrive in this environment. Managing a large to medium team our ideal candidate will be passionate about investing in the development of their team and we will also support you in your own ongoing development.
About our Team
The Joint Logistics Unit (East) is one of Defence’s largest warehousing units managing approximately 14 million items. Located in Moorebank, we are a fast paced, transformative logistics unit with a diverse workforce of military, public servants and contractors.
We are committed to supporting our customers by providing quality advice and negotiating the best solutions across multiple areas within Defence. We are always looking to improve and this role provides the opportunity for you to contribute to this continuous improvement process while insuring compliance measure are adhered to.
