The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is recruiting for a PEL 1 Assistant Director Library Systems within Library Collections & Databases.

The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is responsible for a wide range of services and facilities, working closely with the Department of the Senate, the Department of the House of Representatives and the Parliamentary Budget Office to support the operations of the Parliament and its Committees.

The Parliamentary Library provides research services to the Parliament, including responding to requests from individuals for information and research services and the production of general distribution briefs and publications. The Library also provides information services to the Library's clients through our print and online collections and databases, including the Library databases in ParlInfo and the Electronic Media Monitoring Service, and through the Library catalogue, intranet sites, and external websites.

The Library is recruiting for an experienced professional to fill the Assistant Director, Library Systems role. The Assistant Director, Library Systems leads and manages a small team of technical specialists to support and administer Library IT systems. This role will work with internal and external suppliers to ensure library IT systems meet internal and client expectations. You will also have experience working within the IT environment and have a track record of managing incidents and changes.
