Seasonal Interpretive Ranger, Kakadu National Park (Non-Ongoing)
Kakadu National Park has been home to Bininj/Mugguy for thousands of years, it is also World Heritage listed for both its natural significance and the living culture.
Kakadu National Park is looking for experienced interpreters to deliver walks, talks, slideshows, cultural activities and school programs that will leave our visitors understanding and appreciating some of the natural and cultural values of this World Heritage destination.
The successful applicant will often be working independently in remote locations and able to work split shifts and occasional weekends. The approximate contract timing is mid-April to Late October/November 2019 (7 months).
You will also engage with Aboriginal traditional owners to understand and work towards their vision for the future of park.
We need passionate, energetic and enthusiastic interpreters who can learn quickly, engage with a variety of people and think on their feet. If you think that might be you we’d love to hear from you!
