About the Role

As the Head of Diversity and Inclusion, you will lead the development and implementation of strategies and initiatives that embed diversity, inclusion, and belonging principles across the ABC including:

• Leading the D&I team to develop and deliver innovative D&I strategies and initiatives that align with the ABC’s strategy.
• Collaborating with People and Culture teams to enhance D&I capabilities through targeted training programs and strategies to attract, develop, and retain a diverse workforce.
• Establishing methods to monitor and measure D&I effectiveness.
• Building strong relationships across the organisation and establishing strategic partnerships to enhance diversity representation.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• A proven track record successfully developing and delivering D&I strategies within large, complex organisations.
• Strong leadership experience with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead change effectively.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities
• A data-driven approach to decision-making and measuring D&I impact
• Cultural competence and an understanding of diverse identities and structural barriers
