One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage an experienced Network and Gateway Engineer to join a 2-year transition project to enhance the ICT infrastructure, processes and delivery models. The role can be based in Canberra, Perth, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide or Melbourne with the successful Network and Gateway Engineer to be offered a 12-month contract with 2 X 12 month extension options.  

The successful Network and Gateway Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to: 

• Assist with operations of national systems
• Provide technical support for both network and gateway technologies
• Articulate technical detail through design and implementation plans

The successful Network and Gateway Engineer will have experience in the following:

• Experience demonstrating strong technical skills with Juniper, Cisco, Aruba, F5, Azure, Citrix and Fortigate
• Minimum 5 years experience in a relevant position
• Strong understanding of Essential 8
