Cyber Security Risk Management Specialist - GRC - ISMS - Federal Government

One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage multiple Cyber Security Risk Management Specialists to contribute to the implementation and monitoring of Cyber Security policies, procedures and controls to strengthen their Cyber posture. You will also be involved with Governance, Risk and compliance across multiple networks and systems. The role can be based in Adelaide, Melbourne or Canberra with flexible working arrangements available. The successful Cyber Security Risk Management Specialists will be offered a contract until June 2025 with 2 X 6 month extension options.   

The successful Cyber Security Risk Management Specialists will be responsible for, but not limited to: 

• Reviewing and providing advice on plans to improve the effectiveness of Cyber Security controls
• Contributing to Security Management System (ISMS) documentation to main compliance and certifications against ISO 27001
• Contributing to internal audit functions to improve the Cyber Security posture  
• Reviewing and revising briefing materials and reports on relevant Cyber Security matters

The successful Cyber Security Risk Management Specialists will have experience in the following:

• Demonstrated GRC experience in an Enterprise environment
• Knowledge of Cyber Security frameworks, standards and regulations (eg ISM, PSPF and Essential 8)
• Relevant experience and knowledge of ISMS functions
• Relevant experience contributing to Cyber Security Risk Assessments and Audits
