The Role
Surveillance and Control System Program Office (S&CSPO), based at RAAF Base Williamtown has an opportunity for a Security Advisor to join their team. Operating in an integrated environment comprising of Military, Australian Public Servants and Major Service Providers the role is accountable, under limited direction to the Executive Officer, for security management.
In this role you will have the opportunity to utilise your skills and experience to:
- Develop and maintain security policies, plans and procedures in line with the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF).
- Regulate, monitor and report on S&CSPO's security, conduct security threat & risk assessments, and promote security awareness.
- Administer security compliance across S&CSPO's acquisition, sustainment and business teams.
- Manage security incidents and conduct, facilitate or assist in investigations.
About our Team
The Security Advisor position is housed within the Program Systems Office (PSO) of the Surveillance and Control Systems Program Office (S&CSPO) located at RAAF Base Williamtown.
The PSO supports both major and minor acquisition projects, sustainment activities and their supporting systems.
