Human Resources Clerk
About the Role
This position is located within the Regional Human Resources (RHRO) office, servicing Embassy Canberra and Regional posts on the American HR Program.
Duties
- Provide administrative assistance to the overall American HR Program.
- Assists with U.S. Direct Hire HR program, including but not limited to training, standard operating procedures (SOPs), HR policies and upkeep and safeguarding of official Personnel Folders (OPFs) for all U.S. Direct Hires.
- Database Maintenance, Reports and Statistics.
- Oversight of Family Member Employment (FME) Program.
Skills and Experience
- Three (3) years experience in Human Resources and/or general administrative office experience is required.
- At least one year of customer service experience is required.
- Completion of secondary school (HSC or High School Diploma) is required.
- Excellent knowledge of office administrative procedures, contemporary office practices and customer service principles.
- Basic knowledge of local employment law and human resources practices.
