This role will be based in Bundaberg and will require local area marketing across Harvey Bay, Maryborough and Bargara, with regular travel required, inclusive of occasional regional work. 

Community Hearing Advisors organize and lead promotional opportunities that include conducting hearing checks at screening events and proactively managing key stakeholders / referrers within their territory. 

Working alongside the local hearing Centre teams, you’ll enjoy a variety of activities including attracting new clients to Hearing Australia through running successful events, leveraging national campaigns, conducting outbound call campaigns, and building strong relationships with referrers.

This role will see you responsible for

  • Building brand awareness through local GPs, Community Groups, Aged Care facilities, Pharmacies, and other local health providers to enhance awareness of the services provided by Hearing Australia. 
  • Planning and conducting stakeholder screening events 

We are also having Centre’s open on Saturdays – availability for occasional Saturdays will be required. 

This role will be based in Bundaberg with support to Harvey Bay, Maryoborugh and Bargara on request. 

We believe to be successful in this role you will have: 

  • A marketing and sales background in the healthcare industry (highly desirable but not essential) 
  • Team Player as you will be working with many different teams throughout Hearing Australia 
  • Strong organizational and computer skills and the ability to multitask. Experience with customer relationship management software preferred 
  • Experience with planning events to exceed targets 
  • Excellent people skills, a passion for exceptional customer service and the ability to develop and maintain great relationships with our clients and stakeholders 
  • Strong presentation and communication skills across a broad range of stakeholder groups 
  • A great attitude towards learning new tasks and adapting to change 
  • A current driver licence and own reliable vehicle 
  • The confidence to drive a small bus/van.
