APS4 Ministerial Correspondence Officer

They assist at enabling people with disability to exercise choice and control in their pursuit of their goals, promoting the provision of high quality and innovative support.

About the Role:

Our client is looking for a Part-Time APS4 Ministerial Support Officer who will assist the coordination and management of a wide range of documents and processed related to the client’s Minister and their executive.

Duties:

  • Providing high quality advice and customer service to client’s staff and key stakeholders
  • Day-to-day processing of ministerial documents, including:
    • coding and registering ministerial correspondence
    • processing referrals from other Commonwealth agencies
    • coordinating requests from the MO
    • packaging and end processing of ministerial correspondence, briefs and submissions.
  • Actioning less complex requests received through the team mailbox, including input requests, coordination tasks and requests for advice
  • Providing effective and responsive Helpdesk support on ministerial and parliamentary systems.

This role requires that the successful candidate undergo an Australian National Police Check.
