The Role
The Land Countermeasures Reprogramming Cell (LCRC) Chief Engineer (CE) is responsible for the management of LCRC technical and engineering activities in accordance with Army's Land Material Safety Manual (LMSM).
The CE is required to manage LCRC technical processes, and understand and incorporate Countermeasures Development & Validation principles as well as Land Force Protection Electronic Countermeasures-specific testing processes to ensure LCRC compliance and accuracy within its processes, reporting and documentation.
About our Team
The members of the Land Countermeasures Reprogramming Cell are a mix of Australian Army members, Australian Public Servants and contracted workers.
It works to provide Mission Data Files (MDFs) as well as a range of other supporting configuration items to the end user of in service Force Protection Electronic Countermeasures.
The cell has a number of stakeholders including Australian Army, Acquisition organisations, Defence Science and Technology Group, Five Eyes and NATO partners.
Our Ideal Candidate
Candidates with engineering expertise in electrical, electronic or RF disciplines are desirable.
Experience with defence document writing, policy development and regulatory frameworks will be looked upon favourably.
Exposure to quality management is desirable. Candidates should have demonstrated some management experience.
