The Role
The Portfolio Management Branch is seeking APS 6 schedulers to bring together the portfolio of activity undertaken in the Enterprise ICT hub of Defence. As a scheduler in the Portfolio Management Branch, you will have the opportunity to develop the foundational elements of a portfolio scheduling process in a team identified as a Defence priority. Your scheduling expertise will be applied to all of DDG’ business processes, its prioritisation, reporting standards, assurance frameworks and portfolio level reporting.
Schedulers in the Portfolio Management Branch will work with a wide range of stakeholders to drive quality and performance across the Defence Digital Group portfolio, and will provide strategic insights to enable the right decisions to be made about Defence’s digital capability at the right time.

About our Team
The Portfolio Management Branch is a new Branch within ICT Service Delivery and Reform Division. The Branch will be a high performing team of approximately 22 APS which is likely to grow as it establishes a minimum viable capability. The team will commence with three directorates that focus initially on governance, transparency, performance, assurance, reporting, and strategic insights. You will be able to demonstrate your flexibility and ability to adapt as we go through recruitment processes and establish a Minimum Viable Product and new ways of working across the Group.
