About the Role

Treasury is looking for professional, highly organised and motivated individuals to work in the Dynamics Platform Unit, Major IT Projects Branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for the support and development of current and next generation applications to enable Treasury business and productivity.

Maintaining a strong customer focus, the successful candidate will work across a number of projects and systems, providing consistent technical input in the areas of:

• Dynamics 365 CRM (online and on-premises).
• .NET application development.

The role will be hands-on across the entire software lifecycle from requirements analysis and design through to development, testing and release. A friendly and outgoing nature will help engage with business users to get the most from their solutions, as well as build great business partnerships. Critical thinking skills and excellent documentation skills will assist the team in delivering reliable, robust and innovative digital solutions. The work will be dynamic, varied and flexible, and the successful applicants will get hands-on experience in a number of cutting-edge technologies.

This junior developer role entails:

• providing sound technical advice, including development and support, across a range of Dynamics business systems
• collaboration with internal support teams and vendors to deliver outcomes
• documentation of IT systems, including as-built and operational support documentation, and
• performing ongoing technical checks of critical business systems.

Desirable Qualifications / Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

• excellent communication and stakeholder skills
• tertiary qualifications in IT, computer science or software engineering
• experience delivering business solutions using a combination of the following technologies: Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, SQL Server, Dynamics CRM, Azure DevOps, HTML5/CSS/XML, SOAP
• experience coding Dynamics and Azure solutions in an enterprise environment (desirable).

Eligibility

Employees of the Treasury are required to be Australian citizens and must hold a current security clearance or successfully complete a clearance prior to commencement.
