Wetland Education and Training Workshop- Wetland Legislation - 22 & 23 June

Join Sydney Olympic Park’s next two-day workshop on 22-23 June and you’ll learn about wetland legislation in Australia and how it directly applies to managing wetlands.

The program emphasises legislation applicable to constructing, rehabilitating, restoring or maintaining wetlands – whether coastal or not. As a wetland custodian, we will help simplify complex legislation and update your knowledge.

Multiple mini-workshops in various sessions will take you through:

- Fast-track familiarisation with wetland legislation

- Applying a simplistic approach to resolve confusion around very complex pieces of legislation

- Hands-on application of relevant sections and clauses of legislation

- Common-sense management practices

Our expert educators will deliver a mixture of indoor talks as well as field excursions and case studies in and around Sydney Olympic Park. The programs is highly interactive and hands-on.
