EL1 Recruitment and Wellbeing - Part Time Role

 

Job Title: EL1 Recruitment and Wellbeing Officer (Part-Time, 0.6 FTE) - 12-Month Contract
Location: Sydney CBD, Federal Government

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team as an EL1 Recruitment and Wellbeing Officer on a part-time basis. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the recruitment and wellbeing initiatives within a Federal Government agency located in Sydney CBD. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the agency's recruitment efforts while also championing employee wellbeing programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including job advertising, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and facilitating the selection process.
  2. Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent to the agency.
  3. Provide expert advice and guidance to hiring managers on recruitment policies, procedures, and best practices.
  4. Manage WHS and implement new procedures and policies
  5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and deliver employee wellbeing programs and initiatives.
  6. Conduct regular assessments of employee wellbeing and satisfaction to identify areas for improvement.
  7. Act as a point of contact for employee queries related to recruitment and wellbeing matters.
  8. Act as backup for Payroll

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in recruitment, preferably within Federal Government.
  • Sound knowledge of recruitment processes, including sourcing strategies and candidate assessment techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to take initiative.
  • Knowledge of wellbeing principles and experience implementing wellbeing initiatives is desirable.
  • Payroll and WHS experience.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field are highly regarded.

Working Arrangements:

  • Part-time position (0.6 FTE) based in Sydney CBD.
  • 12-month contract with the possibility of extension.
  • Flexible working arrangements may be available upon negotiation.
