About the company:
Government Department tasked with creating opportunities for Brisbane and its future. Our client is currently seeking a Senior Research Analyst to join their busy team to provide specialist research advice to Senior Executives. The primary purpose of this role is to provide a timely integrated strategic advice that will help support our client in achieving the Brisbane 2031 vision.

About the role:

• Provide upfront strategic advice based on market research and expert analysis as an input into corporate strategy, program planning, investment, and operational decisions.
• Provide corporate and Branch representation to internal and strategic planning forums/ discussions.
• Support policy and program evaluation strategies through the coordination, collection and analysis of internal and external primary and secondary data sources.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the way we collect, interpret and utilise market and community-related data and information.
• Undertake analysis, produce reports and deliver presentations as required to various audiences, including employees, managers, executives and politicians.

About you:

• You will ideally have previous Government experience
• You will have the ability to analyse and evaluate complex strategic issues, future market trends and community trends, problems, and policies.
• You will have the demonstrated ability to influence senior managers, develop and manage new client and partner relationships, and the ability to facilitate the resolution of conflict.
• High-level verbal and written communication skills, including proven ability to prepare and present strategic concepts.
• You will have ability to work in a multi-disciplined team environment to deliver integrated outcomes.
• You will ideally have Statistical knowledge including experience of using SPSS.

Benefits:

• Temporary Assignment until end of June 2025
• Full time hours, Monday to Friday
• $100.00 - $130.00 per hour incl. Super
• Brisbane CBD Location
