Job Title: Cyber Security Specialist- Backfill exculsive Role 
Duration: 12 months with possible extension
Location:  Canberra

Requirements
Client is seeking cyber security Specialist to join their team to undertake assessments of Government entities and provide practical advice to Government on improvements, and develop scalable tools to assist with cyber security measurement and remediation.

The successful candidate will have expert knowledge in technical components of cyber security and will be able to expand those skills to a wide range of situations. The diverse nature of Government agencies and their varying roles requires specialist skills in multiple areas of technology and cyber security.

Essential Criteria

• Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of technical Cyber Security experience.
• Demonstrated experience working with a security focus on enterprise systems.
• Experience with implementing one or more of the Essential Eight Mitigation Strategies and other related security controls.
• Demonstrated experience with scripting or development to automate system administration or vulnerability assessment tasks, or to implement tools to assist with assessing or remediating cyber risk.

Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens and have NV1 security clearance.
