Do you want to make a difference?  Do you want the work you do to benefit all Australians who are diagnosed with cancer, their families and their communities?  If so, this is your opportunity to assist, working towards reducing the impact of cancer, addressing disparities and improving outcomes for people affected by cancer.  Cancer Australia is the Federal Government’s national cancer control agency, leading and co-ordinating evidence based interventions across the continuum of care. 

The Senior Scientific Officer will provide advice and undertake scientific research and data evaluation activities across the Agency.  The Senior Scientific Officer will use their scientific knowledge, quantitative and/or qualitative research experience to lead and support a range of research and data evaluation activities and will help build organisational capability for project/program research and scientific analysis. This is your opportunity to make a distinct contribution to Cancer Australia’s strategic agenda for national cancer control. 

This is a full time, non-ongoing (3 year), Sydney based opportunity.
