Forensicare (The Victorian Institute of Forensic Mental Health) is the statutory agency responsible for the provision of adult forensic mental health services across Victoria. Forensicare provides the mental health service at the Melbourne Assessment Prison.

As a result of the expansion of the service at the Melbourne Assessment Prison we have several positions for Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade-3. These nurses function as autonomous and highly skilled mental health professionals, working within a specialised multidisciplinary team focused on achieving optimum patient outcomes.

Applicants must be registered to practice with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and should possess a post graduate qualification in psychiatric nursing.
