Grants Manager APS 4-6

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on people's lives? Our Federal Government partner has an exciting opportunity for Multiple Grants Management Specialists to join a federal government agency Grants Management Unit.

We are recruiting for the following roles

APS 4 @ ($74,575) per annum

APS 5 @ ($82,339) per annum

APS 6 @ ($91,072) per annum

Darwin based Monday to Friday office hours Start ASAP

  • Contract positions employed by a Federal Government Agency

To fill the roles, we are looking for professionals who can demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Demonstrated analytical, research and problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage agreements of varying complexity and identify potential risks to relevant internal stakeholders when appropriate
  • Ability to engage effectively with internal (Regional Offices, Program and Policy Areas) and external (grant recipients) stakeholders regarding the management of agreements e.g. service delivery and Provider capability risks, performance reports, grant payment installments
  • Ability to identify emerging opportunities or issues, and respond quickly to competing priorities as they emerge

Agreement Manager – APS 6

  • Undertake and deliver high quality and consistent grant management, including assessing and managing risk and ensuring that contractual issues are appropriately addressed.
  • You will be expected to escalate, delegate and manage issues appropriately as needed
  • Ability to effectively supervise staff; and ensure their agreement management and administration activities comply with relevant legislation, guidance materials and policy frameworks

Agreement Manager APS 5

  • Undertake and deliver consistent grant management, including assessing and managing risk and ensuring that contractual issues are appropriately addressed

Agreement Manager APS 4 (74,575)

  • Support the work of agreement management by undertaking basic grant agreement management and administrative tasks under the supervision and guidance of senior staff.

Eligibility

Australian citizenship is a condition of engagement imposed in accordance with subsection 22(6) of the PS Act. Regional and remote travel may be required.

Ability to obtain Baseline clearnce is mandatory
Training will be provided to assist new staff to perform their role. Occasional travel may also be Required.
