APS5 and APS6 Policy and Program Officer Positions
The Organisation and the Team The Department of the Environment and Energy designs and implements Australian Government policy and programs to protect and conserve the environment, water and heritage, promote climate action, and provide adequate, reliable and affordable energy. These positions are available in the Appliance and Building Energy Efficiency Branch which supports the development and improvement of the energy efficiency of appliances, buildings and equipment in Australia. Specifically:
Within these teams there are a number of positions that require a level of technical ability that need to be filled. The Role & Duties In joining the Residential Buildings Team, you will become part of a small sub-team supporting the development of NatHERS and update of Your Home, as well as assisting in the planning of major changes to the scheme and other related building policy initiatives. You will get to understand and interpret technical information and distil this information to inform policy development. You also will be able to work with a wide range of stakeholders as part of the development of NatHERS policy and suggest innovative solutions to complex policy and technical issues
