One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage an experienced Research and Evaluation Officer to join ASAP to support the design, development and implementation of methodologies to convey accurate representations and evaluate the impacts to a national health ecosystem. The role will be based from Canberra, Sydney or Brisbane and will offer hybrid working arrangements. The successful Research and Evaluation Officer will be offered a 6 month contract with 2 x 6 month extension options.  

The successful Research and Evaluation Officer will be responsible for, but not limited to: 

• Undertake technical research and analysis
• Provide policy advice within an area of specialisation with advise based on policies and legislation
• Conduct investigations and undertake administrative / operational tasks.

The successful Research and Evaluation Officer will have experience in the following:

• Demonstrated experience as a research and evaluation officer
• Demonstrated knowledge or experience of policy and legislation
• Preferably knowledge or experience within a health environment or health studies.
