One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage multiple Cloud Architects with deep experience in commercial cloud technologies to deliver an enterprise hybrid Cloud environment. You will provide all levels of architectural support across AWS, Azure and Private Cloud. The role can be based from Canberra, Melbourne or Brisbane with the successful Cloud Architects to be offered a 12 month contract with 2 X 12 month extension options.  

The successful Cloud Architects will be responsible for, but not limited to: 

• Developing policies and standards for a broad range of business use cases
• Driving Cloud Architecture at a strategic level specifically toward self service Cloud Adoption
• Reviewing internal and external developed architecture and design artefacts
• Advising Program Management and Design Authorities on technical risks and mitigations

The successful Cloud Architects will have experience in the following:

• Understanding and demonstrated application of current architectural frameworks and design patterns
• Experience deploying Cloud based architecture and roadmaps
• Experience in System Design and complex design documentation
• Good experience and knowledge of Azure and AWS platforms
