Geospatial Analyst - ArcGIS, FME, Python - Federal Govt

A leading Federal Government department is looking to engage an experienced Geospatial Analyst to join a highly multidisciplinary team. The successful Geospatial Analyst will manipulate an array of large complex datasets that will provide key inputs into geospatial analysis. The successful Geospatial Analyst will be offered a 12 month contract with 2 x 12 month extension options!

The successful Geospatial Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Undertaking system analysis and designing and documenting spatial web services and solutions.
• Providing specialist advice, training, and support to departmental staff through feedback of products, workshops, and development of documentation.
• Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders in developing, undertaking, and presenting the results of geospatial-intelligence products.

The successful Geospatial Analyst will have experience in the following:

• Advanced proficiency with data manipulation and geospatial software including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise.
• Expertise with FME Desktop or Python to develop workflows or tools, assisting automation of common workflows.
• Understanding of Geotime and imagery analysis is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor Junior Analyst on advanced workflows with ArcGIS Pro and other geospatial workflows and create relevant workflow documentation.
